Tallow & Calendula Healing Salve

Let us introduce you to our tallow & calendula healing salve, a staple in our home for cuts, scrapes, sunburns, and eczema.  This herbal salve help supports healing and nourishing of the skin to help keep it healthy.

Calendula has powerful benefits that include soothing and softening the skin, preventing rashes, regenerating the skin by assisting cell rejuvenation. It can also help by reducing inflammation and speeding the healing of burns, bruises and cuts. We infuse cold pressed organic coconut oil with our own home-grown organic calendula flowers to ensure freshness and quality. 

Our tallow is 100% grass fed/finished from a local organic farm a few miles from our home. We render our own tallow to ensure freshness and quality of every batch. Tallow is an intense moisturizer that retains the skin's natural moisture and prevents dryness. It has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties that help prevent acne and breakouts. Tallow contains many fat-soluble vitamins including vitamin A, E, K and D. These vitamins help protect the skin, increase collagen production, improve elasticity, and help the skin to heal. 

Tallow is also extremely compatible with the oil that our skin naturally produces, which is one of the reasons why our skin is able to use tallow so effectively. Compared to plant-based oils, tallow provides skin with very intense moisture. It is one of the best moisturizers to use if you want healthy skin. Some of the benefits of coconut oil include, moisturizing dry skin, reducing inflammation, promoting wound healing and improving skin elasticity.

How to use: Use clean hands and start with a small amount as a little goes a long way. Rub the salve into the area needing some attention and feel the love!  Help support, eczema, rashes, dry skin, cuts, scrapes sunburns, and bug bites. Store in a cool dark place away from moisture.
